In Olten a so-called Tutoring Team looks after individual exchange students. This is similar to the Buddy System. Upon acceptance of an exchange application, students are contacted by the Tutoring Team which consists of domestic students in their final year.

The Tutoring Team helps students individually with any questions or difficulties encountered but also organises a number of social activities throughout the year. This includes touristic outings, parties, sports events.

The Students' Council also organises a variety of events.
