Research
Our Philosophy of Research
Through our national and international network in politics, business and science, the Institute of Management wants to be a commonly acknowledged platform for practice oriented research & development pushing systematically the exchange of experiences in the field of management.
The research work of the Institute of Management involves all of the four-competence centres: Health Management, Governance, Sustainable Management and Entrepreneurship.
For this, the institute counts on the co-operation with acknowledged international partners from universities as well as from the economy.
Our Research Principles
We ensure the quality within our research processes by applying the following research principles:
- Practice-Orientation
We do research from practice for practice. - Participation of the public
The active participation of our practice partners in our research projects is a continuing characteristic of our research. - Funding Combination
Our research creates a measurable added value for practice. The funding of our research projects by our commercial partners and by research promoting organisations is a fundamental indicator for the relevancy of our research for practice. - Principle of Public
The findings of our research are provided to the public. We confront the public discussion through adequate discussions with our stakeholders. - Cooperation between Science and Education
We ensure the transfer of our research findings to education and further education
Our Approach to applied Research
