International training programme: Health Management 27 – 30 September 2010
The content of the training programme was based on Russian requirements, Swiss standards and practical experience within the public health sector.

Objectives of the programme:
- Participants will understand the importance of health management as an integral part of general management
- Participants will investigate aspects of managing health organisations
- Participants will learn about the planning of workplace health promotion as a part of occupational health
- Participants will demonstrate knowledge of social marketing and health campaign fundamentals

- General Health Indicators Russia
- General Health Indicators Switzerland
- Introduction of workplace health promotion and corporate culture planning
- Development of a prevention campaign against alcohol consumption and HIV/Aids in Russia
- Identification of shifts and trends that affect one's professional life (such as lifelong learning, demography, diversity and multicultural societies)
- Development of a healthy workplace policy including targets and action plans
Enterprises visited:
- Health Promotion Switzerland, Swiss Federal Ministry of Health in Bern: tasks, policy, campaigning
- Swiss Federal Office of Public Health: presentation of the Swiss Palliative Care Policy, hearing and proceedings
- Visit to Vitalab – Idea Seetal: presentation of the regional economic development SME (Small & Medium Enterprise) project
