USA
The students’ project connectUS (former Networking New York) consists of two interdisciplinary seminars. They are organised by three students of the bachelor degree programme Business Administration (International Management) in their final year of studies.
This project was initiated in 2007 by three students who recognised the importance of students learning the skill of networking, which by many professionals is considered one of the key success factors in business.
Furthermore, the FHNW School of Business manages two cooperations with USA partners:
- BEST: Business Europe Study Tours is a joint programme with three European partner universities (Switzerland, France, Germany and The Netherlands) mainly targetted at undergraduates of the University of California Fullerton (but also other US universities). Students are toured around organisations and enterprises in Eruope receiving acadmic input especially on clusters.
- MOC: Microeconomics of Competitiveness is the theory, application and research set up by Harvard professor Michael Porter and meanwhile franchised to leading business schools around the world including the FHNW School of Business.
