To achieve an increase in value by using organization wide business concepts - this is the task the E-Business-team dedicates itself to. With the conception and realization of solutions, containing networked IT-systems, the enterprise management is the center of attention. For the realization, numerous tasks have to be mastered interdisciplinarily.

The team of the Competence Center E-Business works in research projects, offers services and publishes its insights primarily for readers from practice and training. Main topics are:

  • Organization wide, IT-supported business concepts
  • E-Business in customer-supplier relations (B2B)
  • E-Commerce
  • The initiative eXperience

A special field of activity is the moderation of organization wide teams of experts. Due to their competition neutrality and objetivity the experts of the E-Business team were able to gain the confidence of several communities, in which experiences are exchanged and solutions are elaborated together. Examples are:

Management support in the form of independent secondary evaluations and selective co-operation in projects, particularly in the conception phase, are the main services of the competence center. In individual cases project teams are being coached over long time periods. Examples are (references on request):

  • Conception and consulting for international portal strategies
  • Co-operation in the conception of E-Invoicing-projects
  • Evaluation of planned investment projects within the range business software

A specialty of the Competence Center E-Business is the initiative eXperience. In this initiative knowledge is being communicated by means of case studies, that were prepared according to consistent systematics, for more than 10 years by now.
