Competences

As to content the E-Business-team works above all in the main topics which are specified in the following. Common to all is the including of networked business software.

  • Organization-spreading, IT-supported business concepts: Our methodical procedure focuses on the tuning of strategy (business view), operational conversion to the daily business (process view) and specification of the IT-infrastructure (application view and technical view). That corresponds to the interdisciplinary nature of E-Business.
  • E-Business in customer-supplier-relationships (B2B): The core question of our work is how IT-supported business processes must be arranged, so that advantages will result for both sides. A special emphasis lies in the electronic invoice exchange (swissDIGIN forum) and in the targeted use of IT in procurement organizations.
  • E-Commerce: We observe the long-term development of E-Commerce and the changes for the market players resulting from it. Further specializations take place in the ranges „personalization“, „benchmarking“ and  „development of portal strategies“.
  • The initiative eXperience: Since the year 2000 the competence team E-Business has been working continuously with case studies, based on uniform systematics. As proven means for the know-how transfer these are made accessible to the public over numerous channels. The case study data base serves as a permanent center.

For all competences several publications were written, among others case studies after the eXperience systematics. These describe also the different views and aspects of the business concepts.
