Information Management (IM)
Business Agility is a topic of increasing interest, in particular boosted by the recent financial crisis. Questions like "what triggers or what constrains change?", "how to automatically detect influencers?" and "how to (re)act most appropriately?" are investigated.
We of the Competence Center Information Management demonstrate how in enterprises the potentials of information- and knowledge management as well as business process management can be converted with added value, and how current research results, like for example semantic technologies, can lead to innovative solutions. Central topics of interest are agile process management for the administration and application of knowledge-intensive business processes linked with information and record management for the administration of unstructured information. By linking the results from international and national research projects with questions arising from further training and consultation we guarantee that our research is practice-oriented and that our educational opportunities and services are based on current research results.
