Third Canadian Academics Studying Europe programme (CASE 2012) completed
The programme focusses on updating faculty on current issues pertinent to their subject areas, research and development, and learning about how to forge sustainable international partnerships and business networks. The legacy will be to enhance best practice implementation strategies at the participants’ home institutions and establish closer ties with the FHNW.

The intensive ten-day programme included input sessions from leading speakers Dr. Alexander Berlin, a former Director General of the European Commission, Dr. Richard T. Meier from the Swiss Banking Institute and Annie Dubé, Trade Commissioner from the Canadian Embassy in Bern. One of the many highlights for the CASE participants was a visit to Campus Basel to meet and interact with HSW faculty and staff counterparts.
The next CASE programme will take place in 2014.
