The IME is member of the Higher Education Program von Mentor Graphics®. Mentor Graphics® supports with this program universities which use leading technologies and methodes in education and research and which share competencies with the industrie.

Education

The IME uses Mentor Graphics® Tools in the profile Microelectronics of the Bachelor curriculum "EIT", especially in the modules Digitaltechnik2, Digital Circuits and in the Microelectronics-Labor. In the Master curriculum (Master of Science in Engineering, MSE) the students use Mentor Graphics® tools for practical work on research projects in digital and FPGA design.

Industry

Commercial licenses allow the IME to cooperate with industry in product development.
