The media and the public

Technology and its applications are an integral element in our society today; they have become part of the everyday lives of us all. For this reason, it is crucial that both still largely untapped research potential and the worries and apprehensions that exist in certain quarters concerning technological advances are recognised in good time and made the subject of public debate.
As a university that is dedicated to research, we consider close contact with the media and the general public to be matters of vital concern.
