With its 13 institutes and staff of some 260, the Transfer Department of the School of Engineering is involved in applied research and development. The knowledge available here that has been gained in practical applications flows directly into the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes for our full-time students and for students already in the workforce. We see our research work as directly supporting our industrial partners. Applied research means initiating value-added processes hand in hand with our project partners. Close contact enables us to react swiftly to new developments and to changes in demand.
