The MINERGIE^® Building Agency deals with questions of MINERGIE^®-techniques as well as with the definition and requirements of standards. The tasks comprise the quality assurance as well as the further technical development of MINERGIE^®.

The MINERGIE^® Building Agency is not an information office for house owners and architects. These professionals get direct information from the certification authorities.

However, the MINERGIE^® Building Agency is responsible for the associated specialists, the licencees and the certification authorities. For their questions and concerns, the MINERGIE® Building Agency can be reached by phone from Tuesday to Friday from 9 to 12 a.m.

Moreover, the MINERGIE^® Building Agency offers services such as consulting, training, support (liable to charges) within their capacity.

In charge of the cantonal energy director's conference (EnDK) the building energy certificate of the cantons (GEAK) has been elaborated within the MINERGIE^® Building Agency. The GEAK is certificated by means of an online-calculation tool by accredited experts. However, the Online-Tool is also open to the public in order to accomplish a "GEAK light" of a building on the website www.geak.ch
