We have the pleasure to invite you to the «7th International Bernd-Spiessl-Symposium for Innovative and Visionary Technologies in Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery», from June, Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th 2011.
The symposium will confront you with the human face in the most varying research aspects of surgery, life sciences, physics, mathematics, computer science, humanities and arts. The topics 2011 are: «Face & Identity» and «New Concepts of Biomechanics»With guests from all over the world we will discuss the latest results of research in these fields.

The syn- and transdisciplinarity of this symposium is ensured by the three organizing partners: Department of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery & Hightech Research Center, University Hospital Basel; Department of Oral Surgery, Oral Radiology & Oral Medicine, University of Basel, and Institute for Research in Art and Design of the University of Applied Sciences Basel.
