The workshop DESIGN YOUR WORLD turned out to be successful. Designproffesionals and Students from the 4th/6th. Semester showed during the 2 days how a product arises within the Academy  and what opportunities and tools a designer can use in order to transform creative ideas. - For more impressions Please press here

The Absolut Vodka Bar gets illuminated by Institute Industrial Design. At the Blickfang Exhibition in Basel, there was a lot to see. Among other things also our former students who were presenting their own creations - Pictures from the exhibition, you will find here.

One of the Highlights for our students are the visit from our Guest-professors from both Switzerland and abroad. The LOOK of Fallsemester 2012/13 turned out to be quite successful. Our students from 1st / 3rd and 5th semester presented uncountable innovative projects, as well as a nice gathering with food and drinks until early morning - Here you can have a LOOK!

Students in protective suits tear old newspapers apart, mix it with water and a small amount of glue, after mixing the ingredients, the mass get distributed into prepared molds. After a carefully handicraft, they are left in the heating oven where the water can vaporize. In the end a red textile cable with socket is mounted to the lamp screen, and done is the lamp, ready to buy. The performance at Designer's Saturday Langenthal was fresh, exciting and sustainable - For impressions, have a look!

Lisa Nissen and Martina Staub [Graduation year 2012] have with their funktional and formal work KINDERSITZ (Baby Seat), convinced the judges and won the Accessoires-Award at the from IF Talents organized IBDC. Congratulations! - More information will you find here

Martina Zurbinden [Graduation year 2012] have with her bachelor work URBAN BIKING, an innovative city bike with a hydreinem innovativen Stadtrad mit hydraulic brake system where you use the thumb, the Components-Award at the from IF Talents organized IBDC.
