Application Process

ERASMUS students follow the normal procedures via the International Office at their local university (Application Form, Learning Agreement, ECTS Transcript of Records). Students from universities with which the School of Life Sciences has a bilateral agreement, do not need to pay tuition fees. Any additional costs (textbooks or excursions) must be borne by the student. Registration runs via the international coordinator of the local university. Overseas students with Swiss Nationality qualify for Swiss subsidies. Other overseas students must bear the full tuition costs.

  • Study fees, expenses, sundries
Exchange students within the ERASMUS programme or within a bilateral agreement of our university with a partner institution are normally free of charge.
  • Grants and student loans
Incoming ERASMUS students usually qualify for a monthly grant of CHF 200-250 (subject to alterations). They should contact their local university office to inquire whether they qualify for grants.
