Short biography
Michael v. Kutzschenbach is an academic and practitioner (pracademic) in the field of sustainable business.
Michael v. Kutzschenbach completed his study in forest and environmental sciences at the
University of Freiburg (Germany) and at the Norwegian University of Life
Sciences (Norway) and attained a doctoral degree on the influence of
informal networks on the learning capabilities of organizations. He lectures internationally on sustainable development within and outside corporations.
Currently, Michael v. Kutzschenbach is a researcher at the University of
Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland at the Institute for
Information Systems, where he studies business transformation
management issues.
In addition, he works as a certified business mediator and facilitator
to improve the collaboration within and between organizations.

Investigating how hidden structures, divergent interests and distributions of power influence managerial thinking and decision making.
