The FHNW School of Social Work stands for «Social Innovation». We analyse and generate «Social Innovation» through interrelating scientific and experience-based knowledge in cooperative processes. We critically reflect on the knowledge that comes from experience, and harness it to building new knowledge capable of guiding action.

In our endeavour to fulfil our fourfold remit, we link the development of knowledge to its transfer in several focus areas:
