Developing Tomorrow’s Skills

Our innovative and richly diverse continuing education programme is much acclaimed beyond the confines of our discipline. The FHNW School of Social Work offers a range of science-based and applied professional development courses closely linked with the insights and experiences of professional practice.
These courses include the state-certified Master of Advanced Studies MAS, Diploma of Advanced Studies DAS, Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS, as well as specialist seminars and symposia on various key issues:

Within the European higher education framework, the FHNW School of Social Work also offers a Joint Master’s degree in cooperation with various German-speaking universities.


Our continuing education courses are aimed at a broad specialist audience – social work professionals, specialists from other fields active in social work, and professionals from other disciplines seeking to develop social work knowledge, skills, and methods in our proven areas of expertise.
