Institute for Integration and Participation

One of the key objectives of social work is to promote, preserve, and restore integration. The Institute for Integration and Partizipation (IIP) explores the processes involved in the discrimination and exclusion of individuals in our society, and those enabling integration and participation.  It also studies the possibilities of social work intervention, aimed at promoting, preserving and restoring the participation of disadvantaged individuals in different systems and ensuring their access to social resources.

Our work focuses on individuals whose participation in our society is under particular threat, especially

  • Individuals in the context of disability
  • Individuals in the context of HIV
