Consultancy Services
Our Consultancy Services are designed to provide individuals and organisations with the necessary assistance to successfully tackle difficult social situations and to further develop their skills to apply qualitative and quantitative measures to successfully steer and shape social and organisational processes. Our services are aimed at managements, organisations and institutions in the social, health and education sectors as well as their responsible bodies and public authorities.
Research and Development
Our research makes an active contribution to continuously updating professional social work practice and rendering it effective, thereby enabling it to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
Research projects undertaken at the FHNW School of Social Work are regionally anchored and benefit from our rich national and international network. A considerable number of projects is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF). We also undertake a large number of commissioned projects, among others for public authorities, organisations, associations, or foundations.
Student Projects
Striving to actively implement the notion of transfer, the FHNW School of Social Work strives to enhance the quality of its academic degree courses through field-based student projects. Such projects offer businesses and organisations an excellent opportunity to have complex problems dealt with from a scientific perspective at no great expense – and to make the uncomplicated acquaintance of potential future staff.
