Ausgangslage

PSI wants to provide easy execution and development of scientific experiments for reseachers using their beamline making use the advanced capabilities of the .Net framework.

Projektergebnis

In the first phase of the project the IMVS developed a 100% pure C# EPICS channel access library using the newest version of .Net. It provides simultaneous access and monitoring to more than 40‘000 channels. It eliminates limitations of existing libraries and offers true plattform independence, running both under Linu/Mono oder Windows/.Net.
