The journal Geschichte und Informatik is a publication of the association Geschichte und Informatik and has been published since 1990. About Geschichte & Informatik The association Geschichte & Informatik was founded in 1989. Its aim is the use and promotion of information technologies in historical research, education and documentation. The association acts also as a platform for the exchange of experiences, which are gathered during the use of information technologies in the studying, documenting or imparting of historical issues. The association is a member of the International Association for History and Computing (AHC). It is also a section of the Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Geschichte (Swiss Society of Historical Research)
