Research Field Physics

We cover a broad palette of research topics in Laser, Measuring Technology, Semiconductors and Packaging.

The Physics Group is engaged, besides teaching activity, in several applied research and development projects with industrial partners.

Work with us

Carrying out an applied R&D project with us means:

  • Support from qualified professionals with broad and solid industrial background
  • Acces to well equipped infrastructure (e.g. scientific labs, measuring devices, workshops, simulation tools, …)
  • Collaboration with experienced partners for public-funded grant programs
  • Generating intellectual property for your business
  • First contact with potential new employees, e.g. via student projects

Four reasons to work together with us:

  • Further development of your products and services by means of technological innovation
  • Innovation step outside your core competences or own infrastructure
  • Ambitious project goal beyond your desired exposure degree
  • Projects outside reach of your available resources

The Physics Group is part of the Institute for Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the FHNW.
