BIS’n’Beer – Information Systems and Beer – is an event series organized by the MSc in Business Information Systems at FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.

The event aims to connect students and experts in the field of Information Systems. It consists of a presentation by a well-known expert about an actual and relevant topic in Information Systems. After the presentation there is an informal networking opportunity.

There are no entry fees. Beverages and snacks are offered free of charge.

The evolution of algorithms based on self-learning AI is a major technological breakthrough, which plays a vital part in the digital transformation. These algorithms have the potential to make economic processes increasingly independent of human beings.
