A New Twist on Grammar

How can we teach language structures according to the LP21 using New Inspiration? This course will provide an overview using many practical examples and offer opportunities to try out new ways to teach and practice implicit and explicit grammar.

Given the focus on the four skills, how does grammar fit into the picture? How can I teach language structures according to the NALP using New Inspiration? How can I make practicing language structures more interesting and student-friendly while still focusing on communication? This course will provide an overview of learner language development using many practical examples and offer opportunities to try out new ways to teach and practice implicit and explicit grammar. We will develop a pool of activities that will help keep students motivated while learning and practicing new language structures, e. g. guided discovery, error analysis, chants, pictures, flashcards, visual aids, songs, games, speaking activities, questionnaires, guided writing, and many more.
