New research platform swisscovery
On 7 December 2020 NEBIS will be replaced by the new research platform swisscovery, which allows you access to the public scientific libraries of Switzerland.
In order to continue to use the FHNW libraries services, you must register again: https://recherche.nebis.ch/
The previously used library accounts will no longer be valid in swisscovery. You can keep your current library cards by entering the number of your library card during registration.
Reservations that you have placed in NEBIS will not be migrated and must be reserved again from 7 December 2020 onwards. You will be able to see your borrowing histories until 31 March 2021 under https://recherche.nebis.ch/.
On 15 November 2020 the NEBIS borrowing network will be stopped and it will no longer be possible to order documents from third-party libraries. The collection on site, the ordering by post (mail courier) and the return of documents from the NEBIS borrowing network will still be possible.
Before switching to swisscovery, all NEBIS libraries will be subject to short-term restrictions in use. From 2 to 6 December 2020 there will be a complete stop of borrowing services in all libraries.
On 7 December 2020 the library will be closed due to system migration!
For further information on swisscovery, the restrictions of borrowing services and registration, please see under https://www.fhnw.ch/de/die-fhnw/bibliotheken.
