Study trip Bambanani South Africa Live
This project permits students of the MSc Programme Business Information Systems and the MSc International Management to visit a range of national and international companies and universities in South Africa. The programme includes interaction with small businesses and start-ups as well as with large companies. In this way, students can familiarise themselves with the economic, social, political and cultural systems of South Africa and with the challenges for local management.
Master’s thesis in South Africa
Students in the MSc in Business Information Systems have the opportunity to write their master’s thesis in South Africa. Students work with businesses in Cape Town and the evaluation is carried out by professors of the FHNW and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology CPUT in Cape Town.
PhD cooperation
Academic staff and researchers from the FHNW School of Business have the opportunity to obtain a doctorate from the University of Pretoria. Supervision at the School of Business, FHNW is carried out by Knut Hinkelmann, who is also Research Associate at the University of Pretoria.
