About us
Die Swiss Sustainability Challenge (SSC) ist ein innovativer Ideenwettbewerb der Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz und der Pax, mit dem seit 2017 ein messbarer Beitrag zu einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung geleistet wird. Der Aufruf zur Teilnahme richtet sich an Einzelpersonen oder Teams, die sich mit einem Projekt für soziale und ökologische Nachhaltigkeit einsetzen möchten. Während wir früher als Swiss Student Sustainability Challenge primär auf Studierende fokussiert waren, steht die SSC allen jungen Menschen und ihren Ideen offen. Wir vom Team der SSC unterstützen und fördern unsere Teilnehmenden aktiv dabei, ihre Ideen zu Projekten auszuarbeiten und sie anschliessend erfolgreich umzusetzen. Sie profitieren von individuellen Coachings durch unsere erfahrenen Expertinnen und Experten, von der kostenlosen Teilnahme an unseren Seminaren und Workshops sowie von der Möglichkeit, sich mit anderen Teams zu vernetzen. Die drei überzeugendsten Projekte werden von einer Jury mit dem PAX Sustainability Award ausgezeichnet. ---------------------------------------- The Swiss Sustainability Challenge (SSC) is a competition for innovative ideas organized by the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland and Pax, which has been making a measurable contribution to sustainable development since 2017. The call for participation is aimed at individuals or teams who promote social and environmental sustainability with a project. While we used to focus primarily on students as the Swiss Student Sustainability Challenge, the SSC is open to all young people and their ideas. We, the SSC team, actively support and encourage our participants to develop their ideas into projects and subsequently implement them successfully. They benefit from individual coaching by our experienced experts, free participation in our seminars and workshops, and the opportunity to network with other teams. The three most convincing projects are awarded with the PAX Sustainability Award by a jury.
