Produce drugs – from researching through to approving new substances.

Students learn to produce active substances and drugs and a knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry and pharmaceutical processes is essential. Furthermore, the precise method used in the lab is key when producing drugs. Students on this major therefore spend a lot of their time in the lab. What is more, students also gain familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry as they learn about registering drugs.

We were very well prepared for the world of work and can put everything we learned directly into practice.
