Research topics
Vivianne Visschers is interested in the intersection between consumer behaviour and sustainability. Her research is mostly interdisciplinary and focuses among other things on:

  • Decision-making under uncertainty;
  • Risk communication and behaviour change;
  • Theory- und evidence-based development an evaluation of behavioural interventions;
  • Perception of environmental challenges (e.g. climate change), health issues (e.g. antibiotic resistance) as well as of new technologies and energy resources;
  • Psycho-social determinants of sustainable food consumption.
