The module "Teamwork – Working Together Efficiently" provides a basic understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration in different teams in academia or in the working world. You will learn essential concepts and theories that explain how and why people can work together effectively and efficiently in professional contexts.

The module teaches the key principles of sustainable urban mobility and introduces you to the concept of the 15-minute city. You will examine the spatial, social and psychological factors that shape mobility behaviour, accessibility and quality of life. You will learn how proximity, diversity and density contribute to the design of sustainable cities and engage with current debates and issues of social justice – such as whether the concept works equally well for families, older people and people with limited mobility.

In diesem Modul lernst du, wie partizipative Arealgestaltung als praktischer und theoretischer Zugang zur Nachhaltigen Entwicklung genutzt werden kann. Du erlebst, wie Räume (u.a. Schulareale) gemeinschaftlich gestaltet werden und diese Erfahrungen in zentrale Konzepte nachhaltiger Entwicklung eingeordnet werden.

In diesem Modul werden Future Skills auf erfahrungsorientierte Weise vermittelt. Die Lerninhalte bestehen aus einer Kombination von Aktivitäten, die draussen und drinnen stattfinden können und bei denen die Gruppe sich in ungewohnten Situationen zurechtfinden muss.

Wie kann Ernährung als gesellschaftliches Gut gerecht, ökologisch tragfähig und demokratisch gestaltet werden? Das Modul verbindet Perspektiven aus Sozialer Arbeit, Umwelt und Gesundheitswissenschaften, Ökonomie, Bildung, Governance und Kulturwissenschaft.

In this module, you work in interdisciplinary teams to develop project ideas that contribute to a zero-emission future. You work on real-world challenges provided by external practice partners, with a particular connection to the life science and innovation ecosystem in the Basel area.

In this module, you will explore how to develop a story based on (scientific) evidence. Working in teams, you will investigate a self-defined question, explore data that helps you answer (or attempt to answer) your question, and present your findings in a creative format of your choice, such as a podcast, digital story, interactive webpage, or short film.
