5th General Meeting
The Swiss-Africa Community concluded its 5th General Meeting on Wednesday, 3 December 2025. The event once again brought together contributors from across Switzerland and the African continent. As with previous meetings, participants shared progress updates, highlighted upcoming activities, and engaged in open dialogue. This edition, however, included a forward-looking discussion on what lies ahead for the Community after the project concludes on March 26.
A major milestone celebrated during the call was the near-finalization of our joint research paper. Marking a significant step in the research collaboration undertaken within the Swiss-African Cybersecurity Community, the Swiss-African CyberSec Research Team held its final project meeting on 24 November 2025. The team was pleased to share that the paper is now in its final review phase and will be completed shortly.

Key Updates

To close the meeting, partners reiterated their commitment to shaping a sustainability strategy that will allow the Community to thrive beyond its initial two-year project framework.
