Bettina Schneider Presents Swiss-Africa Cybersecurity Community at Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building(GC3B)

We’re excited to share that Bettina Schneider recently represented the Swiss-Africa Cybersecurity Community at the Global Conference on Cyber Capacity Building (GC3B), held in Geneva on May 14th!
Bettina led a spotlight session where she introduced our newly launched community, an initiative dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity collaboration between Switzerland and African countries. The session highlighted our goals of fostering knowledge exchange, co-creating capacity-building programs, and supporting impactful joint initiatives.
The response was overwhelmingly positive! Attendees from government, academia, and the private sector showed strong interest, and many new connections were made with people eager to get involved.
Bettina also had the chance to connect with inspiring leaders in the global cybersecurity space. One standout moment was the session led by Luanda Domi, which explored how to co-create a diverse, future-ready cyber workforce—a topic that struck a chord with many participants.
With this year’s GC3B theme, “Rethink – Evolve – Anticipate,” the conference encouraged bold thinking and global cooperation to build a safer digital world. International standards, including those from CREST, were spotlighted as essential for driving secure and sustainable digital growth.
We’re proud to have had the chance to present our vision on this global stage, and we’re just getting started!
