On December 5th, Franka Ebai particpiated attended the Africa-Bern Research Partnership Day 2025 at the University of Bern, where researchers from Switzerland and multiple African regions presented their work and engaged in cross-regional dialogue. During the event, she also contributed insights on the ongoing Swiss–Africa Cybersecurity Community.

One of the standout takeaways from the day was the impressive range of collaborative projects already linking Swiss and African institutions. Many of these initiatives remain under publicized, yet they hold significant potential for strengthening academic exchange and innovation.

The Initiative Afrique, the UniBE “serves as a platform for bundling all the research activities related to Africa and facilitating better networking within and outside the University of Bern” (Initiative Afrique, the UniBE).
