IT Engineering

Internet of Things systems place new demands on IT. We are proficient in the architectures, technologies and methods for developing such systems.

Internet of Things systems place high demands on agility, scalability and availability. In order to be able to meet these demands, we need to research and master appropriate application architectures, software engineering methods and technologies.

The Internet is characterised by its great robustness and fault tolerance, which is now filtering down into the world of small systems. Internet of Things systems (IoT systems) denote any "intelligent objects" that communicate with each other over the Internet. IoT systems place new requirements on the architectures, technologies and methods for developing such systems. Asynchronous and news-based communication, high rates of change and a fast pace are typical characteristics of IoT systems. Microservices, reactive systems, resilient systems, software agents and lightweight, agile development procedures are approaches for fulfilling this requirement.
