A brief guide to using the catalogue
The ‘Exploration Week – Modules’ page provides an overview and details of the modules and events offered as part of Exploration Week FHNW.
The page enables students and other interested parties to find out about the content, objectives and organisational details of individual modules.
The module catalogue has not been fully translated. Modules taught in English are displayed only in English, and German courses only in German. Please note that no registration is required for the events.
Overview of modules and events
On this page, you’ll find an overview of all available Exploration Week FHNW modules.
Each module and event is displayed as a tile or in a list and usually includes:
- Title of the module / event
- A brief description of the topic
This allows you to quickly get a first impression of the various.

You can explore the modules in various ways.
Scroll through
Scroll through the overview to see all the modules on offer.
Compare
Pay particular attention to the module’s topic, the questions it addresses, and the possible formats (e.g. workshops, project work or discussions)
This will help you identify which modules are of particular interest to you.
View module details
If you are interested in a module or a course:
- Click on the title or image of the module.
- This will open the module’s details page.
There you will find further information, such as:
- a more detailed description of the module
- the module’s goals
- planned content and activities
- potential learning outcomes
Select a module
Before you decide on a module, you might want to ask yourself the following questions:
- Am I genuinely interested in the topic?
- Do I want to spend a week working on it intensively?
- Does the module’s approach suit me?
A good module for you is one that:
- sparks your curiosity
- opens up new perspectives for you
