Excursion to the Dreiländermuseum Lörrach

On Thursday, November 20th, the Competence Center Digital Trust team visited the Dreiländermuseum Lörrach for an excursion combining cultural insight with project-related exchange.
Upon arrival, the team was welcomed by Museum Director, Jan Merk, who offered a short, exclusive guided tour of the museum. The tour provided valuable contextual insights relevant to the museum’s cross-border perspective and ongoing cultural initiatives.

The visit further served as an opportunity for exchange on the 3LandSpiel Interreg project, which included discussions on current progress, thematic focus areas, and potential collaborators. The project was presented by Frank Grimberg, who also facilitated a dialogue exchange among participants.
3LandSpiel Project
The 3LandSpiel project designs and develops an innovative, AI-supported board game that promotes cross-border encounters, knowledge exchange, and cooperation among young people in the tri-border region of Germany, France, and Switzerland (TriRegio).
Its core mission is to foster meaningful exchange, initially among school pupils, then university students, and eventually a broader public, to deepen understanding of neighboring regions, their cultures, and the unique characteristics of the TriRegio. In doing so, it encourages thinking beyond borders, learning from and with one another, and collectively shaping a sustainable and future-oriented society and economy in the TriRegio.

The excursion concluded with a joint lunch at Glashaus Lörrach, which provided an informal yet constructive setting to continue discussions, strengthen collaboration, and reflect on the outcomes of the visit.
