04/2025: Kickoff Meeting in Augsburg
The Weave project ‘Transmitting Musical Knowledge in Eighteenth Century European Violin Playing: Tartini’s Scuola delle Nazioni in Light of its Transnational Networks (Pupils, Patrons, Printers)’ officially launched on 1 April. Three universities are involved in the project, with PD Dr. Cristina Scuderi from the University of Graz acting as the leading agency.
The project kick-off meeting took place in Augsburg on 10–11 April, organised by Gesa zur Nieden. During this one-and-a-half-day meeting, all project members came together for an initial exchange. All associated researchers briefly introduced themselves and their contribution to the research project.
Another focus was on coordinating the collaboration; various platforms, tools and workflows were evaluated and initial decisions were made.
The research data collected will be modelled in collaboration with specialists from the Institute for Digital Humanities at the University of Graz and published in GAMS during the course of the project.
