Research Fellow

Claire Reymond is a research fellow at the Visual Communication Institute of the FHNW Academy of Art and Design. She investigates processes of image production as well as the visual reception of pictures. At the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Basel, she does research in the field of empirical aesthetics.

Claire Reymond graduated from the Basel School of Design as a graphic designer in 2000 and subsequently worked in several design agencies and as a self-employed designer. In 2010 she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on visual perception at the University of Basel and completed her education in 2012 with a Master's degree in Visual Communication and Iconic Research at the FHNW Academy of Art and Design. In 2019 Claire Reymond was a visiting researcher at metaLAB at Harvard University.
