Scholarships

In Switzerland, the granting of scholarships is regulated on a cantonal basis. The Canton of your place of residence decides on scholarships or interest-free loans. For more information and the necessary forms, please contact the student office at the School of Life Sciences FHNW or the cantonal authorities:

Private scholarships are also available in addition to the public scholarships. The Basel scholarship directory issued by the Office for Educational Grants in Basel-City lists various sources of funds available for education and further education. This includes the Albert von Rotz Foundation which grants scholarships to students at the School of Life Sciences FHNW.

Furthermore the Swiss Study Foundation offers the students and postgraduates learning opportunities complementary to their studies, an individual mentoring and guidance scheme as well as financial support. More information.
