We invite PhD candidates and Postdocs from the fields of Arts Education, Artistic Research, Practice-based research in Art and Design, Object-based Research/Studies and Art Theory and from related fields, to contribute to the Teaching Artistic Strategies four-day symposium.

We welcome contributions as proposals for teaching ongoing research, such as for example to historically or theoretically contextualise a research topic, or provide insights into practical methodologies.

We invite participants to propose an imaginary teaching scenario that they would like to try out at the symposium. The format involves a 30-minute teaching followed by a 15-minutes discussion and feedback sessions.

To the symposium participants, we offer three special workshops by the organisers and three keynote lectures by invited scholars, Prof. Dr. Elke Krasny, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Dr. Glen Loughran, Technological University Dublin and Prof. Dr. Irene Posch, University of Art and Design Linz. Selected participants will have the opportunity to share their work with their peers within the international context and network in a non-formal and supportive environment.

To apply, we kindly ask you to submit the following materials as one pdf to the organisers no later than March 13, 2022 to dGVhY2hpbmdhcnRpc3RpY3N0cmF0ZWdpZXMyMDIyLmhna0BmaG53LmNo:
