Arusha

4 out of 1’000 deaths of women in Tanzania are pregnancy-related. Out of 100 Tanzanian newborns, about five die before reaching their first birthday. Our vision is a world in which every mother and child attains the right to survival and protection. By doing that we offer an exclusive exchange experience where midwives from specific hospitals in Arusha (Tanzania) and Switzerland have the chance to once work in the opposite country. The solution is to run a two-year pilot project starting in the Health Center Arusha and Ngarenaro Hospital, where midwifes will have the opportunity to make use of an exclusive exchange experience. We are not only sending our staff to help and being partially rejected, but to let them send their staff to our hospitals too.
