EquipSent

Scientific laboratory equipment in western countries is often replaced and left unused while still functional, eventually ending up in the trash. In contrast, education and research in low-income countries are significantly hindered by the high cost of new scientific equipment. EquipSent seeks to bridge these two dilemmas by matching donors of out-of-use equipment with recipients in need and organizes the transfers of devices to their new destinations. We want to give these devices a second life, to promote sustainable use and enable educational access, everywhere.
