In a BIS context, in reply to an authentic, current, relevant job advertisement (also to be submitted, with verifiable source and date), candidates submit a CV and a covering letter of application.

lecturer's help up to a certain point and cut-off date, after which the candidate is expected to produce the documentation alone

Type: oral (group, with individual grade)
Task to prove competency, based on sub-module 'Key Issues in Business'
30 minutes preparation time (each candidate prepares alone / no discussion with group partners) during which the candidates read a given text and prepare for a discussion
group discussion of text / issue at hand, showing comprehension of topic in English and ability to discuss it competently in English.
