Learning objectives | The students - are familiar with modern 3D measurement techniques and can integrate and apply them into production processes. - are familiar with RPD technologies (RPD = Rapid Product Development) and their advantages and disadvantages. - can interpret modern manufacturing and production controls and apply correctly. - have a basic knowledge of fluid technology and can apply it in production - can apply, analyze and optimize fluid systems in an operation. - may plan and implement the use of robots. - can judge the efficiency of automation in production. |
Summary | - 3D metrology: tactile and visual systems. Collection of free-form surfaces. Use in the production - RPD technologies: Rapid Prototyping, Rapid Tooling, Rapid Manufacturing, reverse engineering. Procedures and interfaces. - Fluid Technology: air generation and distribution in operation. - - Pneumatics and hydraulics in production. - Profitability of automation. - Robot types, use, coordinate systems, robot control and programming. - Operation and application of PLCs. |
