      Overview
      After completing their studies, students may wish to change jobs or enter the world of work for the first time. To do so, they will need effective application document (CV and application letters), as well as interview skills. These and other competencies are developed in this course. Many of the skills and concepts practiced in this course will also be benefit to students when making job applications in German.
      Learning objectives
      Upon successful completion of the module, participants can:
      • learn to interpret suitable job adverts
      • produce an application portfolio (application letter and CV) that secure an interview
      • develop effective interview skills, for example through assessing their strengths and weaknesses;
      • develop writing, listening and skills that support the above goals.
      Previous knowledge
      Entry based on placement test or successful completion of e4/ten2. Language level C1 or above.
