Students are able to:
master the Chinese phonetic system (pinyin and tones) with satisfactory pronunciation;
understand the construction of the Chinese Characters (simplified) and learn to write them correctly;
understand and use correctly basic Chinese grammar and sentence structures;
build up essential vocabulary;
