Statistics I

Nummer
20203S1
Zielsetzung / Purpose
Understands the basic concepts and rules of probability theory. Understands the tools and concepts of descriptive statistics, and is able to apply the same to real-life cases. Understands the basic concepts of linear correlation, and simple linear regression analysis, and is able to apply the same to real-life cases. Understands applications and uses of statistics in the field of economics, for example in the calculation of index numbers. Is able to carry out statistical analysis in SPSS on the basis of the theory covered in the course.
