Content Together with the advancing digitalisation, the availability of digital information is increasing exponentially. The efficient, critical and professional handling of information - information literacy - is therefore one of the most important key qualifications of students for success in their studies and careers. They acquire the ability to identify, select and evaluate information in a targeted manner and in suitable information sources, to manage them professionally, to prove them scientifically correct and to use them reflectively.
Learning outcomes Research (information sources/ search strategies)
The search for information is carried out in a targeted manner, in suitable information sources and using appropriate search strategies.

Source Criticism
The importance (also ethical and social dimension) of information literacy in an increasingly complex world is recognised and understood. The students distinguish between different types of sources, use credible sources (considering quality characteristics), take up the contents of the sources adequately and contextually (reading and understanding scientific sources) and use sources reflectedly in their own texts.

Referencing/Bibliography
The students are familiar with different citation styles and one citation style is correctly applied in their texts - the sources are professionally integrated and formally-correctly referenced in their work.

Manage sources
Students are aware of specific source management tools and their sources are appropriately and professionally managed.
