Content Ethics is an ancient discipline of philosophy. Information ethics is one of the newer fields of ethics. It reflects the opportunities and risks of the use of information and communication technologies and its implications from a moral point of view. Data ethics can be counted among them, as well as computer, net and media ethics.

Central terms and methods of ethics are known and mastered, the fields of applied ethics (including technology ethics, business ethics and medical ethics) are known and differentiated.

Reflect
The use of information and communication technologies, information systems, new media, robots and AI systems is understood in terms of its moral implications and consequences. The technologies are reflected upon using appropriate terms and methods.

Apply
The acquired knowledge and skills are transferred to a selected field of application. Opportunities and risks are contrasted and interests and conflicts are revealed.
